Nursing Coordinator (Registered Nurse)
Location: Lynn, MA
Program: Community Crisis Stabilization (CCS)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:00 PM
Start Date: Approximately two weeks from offer
Pay Rate: $60/hour

About the Program:

The CCS program is a 24-hour service designed to stabilize and support adults experiencing psychiatric distress. It serves as an alternative to hospitalization, offering short-term care in a structured and supportive environment. The ideal candidate will be skilled in crisis intervention and engagement strategies, and able to build rapport with individuals from diverse backgrounds and clinical presentations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise 2–3 staff members and report directly to the Medical Director
  • Provide nursing interventions and support to clients
  • Manage medications and oversee the nursing department’s daily operations
  • Develop and update Comprehensive Assessments and Individual Action Plans (IAPs)
  • Participate in supervision, staff meetings, in-services, and training sessions
  • Conduct medication management, provider follow-ups, and client assessments
  • Educate clients about their medications and symptoms as needed

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1 year of nurse management or supervisory experience
  • At least 1 year of experience working with mental health/psychiatric patients
  • 1 year of experience in medication administration
  • Strong knowledge of psychiatric medications and treatment approaches
  • Experience in high-turnover settings such as respite care is highly preferred
  • Bilingual candidates are a plus!
