Location: Sanford, NC

Contract Duration: 25-26 School Year

Schedule: School Bell Schedule / 8:30a – 3:30p

Job Description: 

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a dedicated andexperienced nurse for a 1:1 School Nurse position in the Sanford NC area.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and assess student health throughout the school day
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Provide first aid and emergency care when needed
• Support chronic condition management and individualized health plans
• Promote health education and disease prevention
• Maintain accurate health records and documentation
• Communicate effectively with students, families, and school personnel
• Refer students to appropriate healthcare providers when necessary

Qualifications:

• Active LPN/RN license
• One year of experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred
• Current CPR certification
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
