As the School Nurse, you’ll play a vital role inpromoting student health and wellness, providing direct care, and collaboratingwith staff and families to ensure every child thrives. ?? Position Details:
- Location: Lafayette, IN
- School Type: K–8 Charter School
- Student Population: ~200 students
- Pay Rate: $26/hour
- Employment Type: Full-Time
- Start Date: Immediate openings available
?? KeyResponsibilities:
- Deliver student care using the nursing process in accordance with physician orders and school policies
- Provide health assessments, first aid, and emergency care
- Monitor and manage chronic conditions and medication administration
- Collaborate with school staff, parents, and healthcare providers
- Maintain accurate health records and documentation
- Support a safe and healthy school environment
? Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Licensed as an LPN in Indiana
- Current CPR certification
- PPD or chest x-ray (if applicable)
- Current health certificate (per contract/state regulation)
- At least 1 year of professional experience (preferred)
- Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
