Amergis Staffing is currently seeking experienced Registered Nurses (RN) for Oncology assignments in Nashville, TN!
Position Details:
Contract Length: 13 weeks (+ability to extend)
Number of Openings: 1
Start Date: ASAP
Hours/Shifts/Schedules: 40 (5×8’s) / Days / Mon-Fri (8a-5p)
Setting:
- Won’t be in treatment room, they will be in the lab overhanging chemo
Position Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of recent RN Oncology experience
- TN RN or Compact RN license
- BLS (AHA), ONS/ONCC

The Oncology Registered Nurse evaluates, plans, implements and documents nursing care for the oncology patient population. The Oncology Registered Nurse works in hospitals and outpatient care centers where patients receive cancer treatments. In hospital settings, the Oncology Registered Nurse assists with surgery prep, patient education and coordination of their cancer treatments. In outpatient care center settings, the Oncology Registered Nurse typically helps with treatments such as chemotherapy and infusions while monitoring patients’ vitals, side effects, and pain.
Minimum Requirements:
- Current RN license in state practicing
- One (1) year of experience in oncology nursing preferred
- Current CPR if applicable
- TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
- Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
- Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
