High School Instructional Assistants

AmergisEducational Staffing ispartnered with a school in Duxbury, MA who is currently seeking a SpecialEducation Paraprofessional to work with students on a contractual basis.

Detailsof the Position Include:
Location: Duxbury, MA
Pay Rate: Up to $26/hour (based on experience)
Start Date: August 2025
Duration: Full 2025–2026 school year
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:20 AM – 2:45 PM
Requirements: Experience working with high school students preferred;additional details available upon inquiry

Description: Paraprofessionals will support students at the high schoollevel, working one-on-one or in small classroom settings

The School Aide is an individual who works with students requiring instructional, and/or behavioral assistance under the supervision of the special education department, teacher and/or supervising designee.  The School Aide may also provide support services to assist students with personal, physical mobility and therapeutic care needs, as established by a rehabilitation health practitioner, social worker or other health care professional. 

Minimum Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Comply with all relevant professional standards of practice 
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable 
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation) 
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements   
• Must be at least 18 years of age
