Key Responsibilities:

As a Behavioral Classroom Aide, you will play a crucial role in supporting students with behavioral needs. Responsibilities include:  

? Providing personal care and behavioral assistance to assigned students  

? Assisting with classroom activities, grooming, meal preparation, toileting, and ambulation

? Managing challenging behaviors and implementing crisis intervention strategies  

? Encouraging independence and ensuring student safety

? Supporting the implementation of behavioral plans

? Maintaining accurate documentation as per Amergis policies  

? Communicating effectively with school staff and Amergis office personnel  

Qualifications:

? High School Diploma or equivalent (Associates degree in behavioral studies or related field preferred)  

? Strong verbal and written communication skills  

? CPR Certification & Current TB Skin Test/Chest X-ray (if applicable)  

? Completion of company testing process
