?? Charter School | 2025–2026 School Year | Grades 6–8

Calling all SLP superheroes! If you can decode a middle schooler’s mumble, turn “I dunno” into a full sentence, and still smile after a day of IEP meetings—you might be exactly who we’re looking for.

??? The Gig:

• Contract Length: 36 glorious weeks (Sept 1, 2025 – May 2026)
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 35 hours/week (weekends are for naps and Netflix)
• Location: Detroit, MI (on-site at a charter school)
• Caseload: 6th–8th graders—aka the age of sarcasm, sneakers, and surprising insight
• Pay: Starting at $2,100/week, depending on experience (and your ability to survive middle school humor)

?? What You’ll Be Doing:

• Helping students find their voice—literally and figuratively
• Collaborating with a team that actually likes each other
• Navigating the wild world of speech goals, progress notes, and the occasional mystery slang

?? You Might Be Our Person If You:

• Have a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology
• Hold (or are eligible for) a Michigan SLP license
• Prefer CCCs but are open to CFs with great vibes
• Can handle middle school energy without needing a nap by noon
