Oncology Nursing Coordinator | Travel Contract | August Start – Bay Area

We’re working with a reputable hospital in Palo Alto, CA to place an experienced Oncology Nursing Coordinator for a full-time, travel contract role. This is a non-clinical position ideal for RNs with strong outpatient oncology experience who are ready to step away from bedside care and focus on coordination and patient support.

Position Highlights:

• Location: Palo Alto, CA
• Start Window: August/September 2025
• Contract Length: 26 weeks (with potential extensions)
• Schedule: 4x10s, Day Shift (40 hours/week)
• Setting: Cancer Center (Outpatient)

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate oncology care across multiple outpatient clinics
• Conduct patient outreach and follow-up via phone/messaging
• Manage documentation and workflows in Epic
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care transitions
• Support various clinics based on operational needs

Ideal Candidate:

• Active RN license with 2+ years of outpatient oncology experience in the U.S.
• Background in care coordination, nurse navigation, or case management
• Comfortable working independently with minimal training
• Chemo certification is a plus, but not required
• Inpatient oncology experience is acceptable but not ideal for this role
• Must be tech-savvy and confident using Epic
• Must reside 50+ miles from Palo Alto, CA to qualify as a traveler
