Elementary Special Education TeachersNeeded for the 25-26 School Year!
The Special Education Teacher, under the direction ofthe Special Education Program Administrator provides quality services tospecial education students, kindergarten through grade 12. The SpecialEducation Teacher has a commitment to team participation in planning andimplementation of student programs including special instruction, tutorialassistance and consultation with general education staff.
Details:
- Start Date: August 18, 2025
- 37 hours a week
- Monday-Friday
Requirements:
- Must be licensed teacher in Virginia or hold active out of state Special Education Teaching License
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university preferred
- Valid state teaching certificate as required by state, contract/district regulations
- Minimum of one year experience in teaching environment preferred
- State Teacher Certification; Type: Standard Elementary Teaching preferred
- State Teacher Certification; Type: Standard Secondary Teaching preferred
- State Teacher Certification; Type: Standard Special Teaching preferred
- Endorsement: Learning Behavior Specialist (LBS1) preferred
- Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice
