The Youth Services Specialist is responsible for the oversight and safety of children or adolescents in a variety of secure setting care settings. The Youth Services Specialist will interact with the youth in a positive manner while assisting them with daily activities and implementing treatment plans.
The Youth Services Specialist will display a professional and caring attitude and will encourage positive behaviors through effective communication, decision-making, and problem-solving. The Youth Care Worker will respond to emergencies and assist in the redirection of youth when needed.
Pay: $30/hr

Setting: Juvenile corrections
Location: openings in Golden, CO and Denver, CO
Hours: 40/week, 4x10s
Shift: Day, Eve and Night
Orientation is 40 hours for the first 2 weeks
Notes: Ideal candidates have a passion for working with adolescents, have experience in corrections, security, secure juvenile residences or juvenile detention centers
Start: 8/4 and once every month
Contract Length: 6 months with opportunities to extend and go internal after contract completion
Minimum Requirements:
- High School Diploma
- Bilingual or multilingual may be preferred in some settings
- Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice
- Current CPR if applicable
- TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
- Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
- Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must Reside in Denver Metro
