Job Description: As a School LVN, you will play a vital role in providing healthcare services to students within the school setting. You will collaborate with school personnel, healthcare providers, and families to ensure the safety and well-being of students requiring medical care. Your work will be guided by Amergis’ core values of servant leadership, innovation, and commitment to quality.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.

Provide first aid and emergency care as needed.

Monitor and document students’ health status and progress.

Assist with toileting, first aid, and student mobility around the school campus.

Implement individualized healthcare plans for students with chronic conditions.

Collaborate with school staff to create a safe and supportive environment.

Educate students and staff on health-related topics.

Maintain accurate health records and comply with all relevant professional standards of practice.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

Current California LVN license.

Experience in a school setting preferred.

Compliance with all relevant professional standards of practice.

Participation and completion of Amergis’ Competency program.

Current CPR certification, TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray, and health certificate as required.
