About the Role

Are you passionate about supporting students andmaking a difference in their lives? Amergis Educational Services is seeking adedicated School Social Worker to join our team. In this role, you’llcollaborate with educators and families to support students’ emotional, social,and academic success.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and Individualized Health Plans (IHPs)
• Create a supportive and therapeutic environment for students
• Design and deliver personalized service plans
• Facilitate smooth transitions between therapy and classroom settings
• Implement behavioral interventions and positive reinforcement strategies
• Communicate effectively with students, families, and school staff
• Utilize community resources to support student welfare
• Collaborate with school staff, interns, and volunteers

Qualifications

• Licensure: Professional Educator License with SSW endorsement (required)
• Education: MSW or LCSW may be required
• Certifications: CPR, TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray, Health certificate
• Compliance: Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements
• Skills: Strong communication skills, computer proficiency, understanding of HIPAA
• Age: Must be at least 18 years old
