Days 4/10’s Shift

An Interventional Radiology Nurse is a specialized RN whoassists the physician with medical imaging such as MRIs, ultrasounds orX-rays.  The RN – InterventionalRadiology is responsible for patient care during the entire process, includingthe initial assessment, the plan of care, administering medication, checkingfor lab results, and reviewing the patient’s medical history.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current Registered Nurse License for the state in which thenurse practices.
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable 
• Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation) 
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements 
• Must be at least 18 years of age  
• Must be able to scrub, circulate, and first assist to physician
• Have knowledge of Epic, Siemens single, Bi Plane, circulate, film, and charge exams on Epic.
• AART, BLS, RTR or RTRVI, and KY Radiation Operator’s License
• 1-3yrs of experience in Interventional Radiology with skills in Vascular Interventional Radiology.
