Hours/schedule:

35 hours – 3 different Shifts: 7-3, 8am to 4pm, 9-5. all M-F. 30 min lunch.  Ideal candidate is flexible

Qualifications/Licensure:

Child Development Associate Certification (Preferred) (replaces need for the 45/90 hour infant toddler and most other certifications)

45 hour infant/toddler

90 hour Certificate

CPR/First Aid

Typical job duties & work environment:

Childcare lead teacher, responsible for either infant or toddler population.  Will be independent at times, although help is always nearby when necessary.  Coordinate with families for drop off / pickup and discuss any topics for children with their families.  The role absolutely requires reliability and a professional demeanor

Specific experience required:

1 year as a Inf/Todd Teacher

1:4 Infants, 1:7 Toddlers

The Early Childhood Teacher, or Early Childhood Educatorrole is to provide educational programing that focuses on early literacy,numeracy and social skills in efforts to prepare children for the formal schoolsetting. 

The Early Childhood Teacher/Educator aids in formingmeaningful partnerships with families and child specific focus forindividualized outcomes. 

The Early Childhood Teacher, or Early Childhood Educatorworks with children of varying ages: infants, toddlers, preschoolers andschool-aged in a variety of settings.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education,preferred 
  • Certification for Early Childhood Education (ChildDevelopment Associate, CDA) as required by state/ client or contract
  • Complies with all relevant professional standards ofpractice 
  • Current CPR if applicable
  • TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable 
  • Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation) 
  • Must meet all federal, state and local requirements 
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
