Are you passionate about making education accessible for alllearners? We’re seeking a dedicated Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) tosupport students across the Sheboygan Area School District for the 2025–2026school year.

Position Details:

Schedule: Monday–Friday

Elementary: 7:45 AM – 3:30 PM

Middle School: 7:30 AM – 3:45 PM

Contract Dates: Week before school starts (First day:September 2, 2025) through end of school year

Meal Break: 30 minutes

Pay Rate: $40/hour

Caseload: 12–15 students

Travel: Required between school sites within the district

What You’ll Do:

Provide direct and consultative services to students withvisual impairments

Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs(IEPs)

Conduct functional vision and learning media assessments

Adapt curriculum and materials for accessibility

Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff

Support use of assistive technology and orientation/mobilitystrategies

Maintain compliance with state and district documentationstandards

What We’re Looking For:

Valid Wisconsin DPI certification as a Teacher of theVisually Impaired

Previous experience working with visually impaired students

Strong communication and collaboration skills

Ability to travel between multiple school sites

Passion for inclusive education and student empowerment
