Amergis Staffing iscurrently seeking experienced Registered Nurses (RN) for Surgical Intensive Care (SICU) assignments in Baltimore, MD!

 

Position Details:

Contract Length: 13 weeks (+ability toextend)

Number of Openings: 5

Start Date: 6/9 or 6/23

Hours/Shifts/Schedules: 36 (3×12’s) /Days / 7a-7:30p

*Willwork every OTHER weekend/holiday

 

Setting:

  • Large teaching hospital
  • Level I trauma center
  • Dept of Surgery

 

Position Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of strong RN Surgical ICU experience
  • Preferred CCRN, trauma, and EPIC experience
  • MD RN or Compact RN license
  • BLS and ACLS (AHA)

The SICURegistered Nurse assumes responsibility and accountability for applying thenursing process and delivery of patient care in the Surgical Intensive CareUnit (SICU), sometimes referred to as Post Anesthesia Care Units (PACUs). TheRegistered Nurse consistently performs according to nursing standards and isaccountable for managing patient care post-operatively and assisting others inthe management of patients as they come out of anesthesia. 

 

Minimum Requirements:

  • Current Registered Nurse License for the state in which the nurse practices
  • 2 years of SICU, PACU or ICU experience preferred
  • CPAN and CAPA certifications preferred
  • ACLS may be required per state/contract
  • Current CPR if applicable
  • TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable 
  • Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation) 
  • Must meet all federal, state and local requirements  
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
