Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) 

 Location: Oceanside, CA

 Schedule: Monday–Friday, 35 hours/week 

Pay Rate: $49/hour

About the Role:

Work one-on-one with K-12 students in two schools:

School (Mild/Moderate Needs) – 2 days/week, mostly verbal students.
Academy (Moderate/Severe Needs) – 3 days/week, students with special needs and behavioral challenges.

Qualifications:

Experience with Autism or Down Syndrome.
Comfortable working with different student needs.

Start Date: ASAP

Minimum Requirements: 

• Must be a graduate of a SLPA program with an associate’s degree, or have a bachelor’s degree in a speech-language pathology or communication disorders program 
• Successful completion of a minimum of 100 hours of supervised field work experience or its clinical experience equivalent as required by state and/or contract
• Current certification or licensure as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant in the State of Practice 
• One (1) year of prior professional Speech-Language Pathology Assistant experience preferred; 
• TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable 
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation) 
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements 
• Must be at least 18 years of age
