$1,160 wk./40 hrs.
Start: ASAP
Contract length: 10 weeks
GSA: 40- hours not guaranteed week of orientation
Shift: 8:30a-5pm or until the MA’s last patient visit is completed
Floating: Other clinic sites if needed to complete guaranteed hours, with the exception of scheduled holidays.
Weekends/holidays: None
Certifications: AHA BLS
Education: graduate of Medical Assistant program, required.
Experience: must have 6 months of experience in a pediatric clinic
1 MA per provider, clinic sees 45-60 patients per day on an avg.
Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Medical Assistant responsible for performing duties under the direction of a physician to assist inthe examination and treatment of patients.
Minimum Requirements:
- High School diploma or its equivalent
- Good telephone communication skills
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Knowledge of medical procedures
- Knowledge of clerical functions
- Current CPR card (if applicable)
- Current PPD or Chest X-Ray (if applicable)
- Current Health Certificate (if applicable)
- Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program; certification preferred
- Minimum of one year relevant experience preferred.
- Relevant certification/ license if applicable.
- Must be at least 18 years of age

The actual pay offered to asuccessful candidate will take into account a wide range of factors,including but not limited to location, experience, and othervariable factors.
