Now Hiring! Behavioral Technicians School Setting (No Certification Required)

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking dedicated Behavioral Therapists to provide behavioral support services in a school setting. This role involves working on a variety of cases, including one-on-one and classroom support. • Pay: $20-$25/hr
• Employment Type: Full-Time and/or Part-Time
• Work Hours: Approximately 8am-3pm, Monday to Friday
• Location: Pasadena, Temple City, Alhambra, South Pasadena 

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide personal care and behavioral assistance/interventions to assigned student(s).
• Assist students with classroom activities, grooming, eating/meal preparation, and toileting.
• Support students with ambulation and transfer services.
• Manage difficult behaviors and provide crisis intervention.
• Encourage student independence and ensure their safety.
• Implement behavioral plans effectively.
• Verify changes in assignment due to client requests.
• Confirm weekly schedules with the Amergis office staff.
• Document care according to Amergis policies and procedures.
• Complete communication notes or incident logs promptly when necessary.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Associate’s degree in behavioral studies or related field, or equivalent experience preferred.
• Proficiency in verbal and written English.
• Current Health Certificate (if applicable).
• Valid CPR certification.
• Current TB Skin test or Chest X-ray.
• Successful completion of the company testing process.
