CRNA locums opportunity in Reidsville, GA

Position Overview

• Case Assignments: General, orthopedic, neuro, and gastrointestinal (GI) cases.  Very few PEDs cases

• Shifts: Monday–Friday, 7 AM–3 PM, predominantly elective orthopedics with a predictable schedule

  • No nights, weekends, or call

• Patient Acuity: ASA 1, 2, and 3 patients – low acuity

• 4:1 CRNA:MD ratio. MDs are not doing their own cases.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-anesthesia assessments

• Obtain and/or verify patient consent

• Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient

• Perform induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia

• Monitor the patient’s physiological condition

• Provide clinical intervention as needed

Requirements

• Current Georgia state CRNA license

• Graduate of an accredited nurse anesthesia education program

• Must have BLS, ACLS, PALS certification

• Ideal candidate can provide at least 2 weeks of full-time coverage per month

• 2 years of experience as a CRNA preferred
