Psychiatric/Mental Health Facility LPN

Location:Greenville, NC

Shift/Schedule:Nights 7 PM – 7:30 AM – 36/48 Rotation – Every Other Weekend

Contract: Initial 16week contract with 13 week renewals

Pay:$33 / Hour (Local) – With Travel Options

JobDescription:

AmergisStaffing is currently seeking a dedicated and professional Licensed PracticalNurse (LPN) to join our team at a psychiatric/mental health facility wecurrently have open in Greenville, NC.

Responsibilities:

• Ensuring patients receive their prescribed medications on time and monitoring for any side effects
• Conducting initial and ongoing assessments of patients’ mental health status
• Observing patients for changes in behavior or condition and reporting these to a registered nurse or physician
• Assisting with daily living activities and providing basic nursing care
• Responding to psychiatric emergencies and using de-escalation techniques as needed

Qualifications:

• Must be licensed for minimum 1 year 
• Must have some psychiatric/substance abuse experience 
• Must be able to attend orientation first week M-F 8A-5P (no call outs or late arrival allowed) 
• Must be able to follow red dot policy (stay up to 4 hours past shift – scheduled ahead of time)
• Must be comfortable working in a psych/crisis/detox setting
• Must be able to virtually interview
