Pediatric Registered Nurse (RN) Opportunity at Amergis Healthcare Staffing

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a dedicated Pediatric Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the application of the nursing process and the delivery of patient care, demonstrating clinical judgment, critical thinking, and performance ability in the coordination of patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assume responsibility and accountability for patient care.
  • Make effective and efficient clinical judgments with supervision.
  • Coordinate patient care and assist others in managing patient care.
  • Consistently perform according to nursing standards.

Compensation:

  • $2936 per week

Shift Information:

  • Day Shift:
    • One RN: 0700-1530 (5 x 8-hour shifts)
    • One RN: 0700-1730 (4 x 10-hour shifts)
  • On-Call Shifts:
    • One weekday on-call shift (Monday through Friday) from 1900-0700 once per month.
    • One weekend shift from 0700-0700 on Saturday and Sunday once per 13-week contract.

Unit Details:

  • Fast-paced operating room.
  • Main operating room: 8 ORs and 3 minor procedure rooms.
  • Daily case volume: 40-55 cases.
  • Specializations: Pediatric surgical services including dental, ENT, general surgery, GI, gynecology, ophthalmology, urology, pain, and orthopedic procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Current licensed Registered Nurse (RN) within the state of practice.
  • Minimum of one year of maternal child health acute clinical experience or Pediatric RN experience within the last three years preferred.
  • Current BLS card.
  • Current PALS (if applicable).
  • Current Health Certificate (if applicable).
  • Current PPD or Chest X-ray.
