This is a different kind of role which involves not working much with students, but rather training caregivers / parents on interventions.  

• Location: Portland, OR
• Start: ASAP
• Length: Through 24-25 school year 
• OR TEACHING CERTIFICATION REQUIRED w/ SPED endorsement
• Pay: 54 / HR

The Early Intervention Specialist provides services to children with a variety of developmental disabilities or delays.  The Early Intervention Specialist works with children in a variety of settings to help implement personalized focused treatment programs to increase positive outcomes and independence.   

Minimum Requirements: 

• Bachelor’s Degree from accredited university preferred 
• Valid state teaching certificate or early childhood educationas required by state regulations and/or contract 
• One year experience as an Early Intervention Specialistpreferred
• Current CPR if applicable 
• TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable 
• Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation) 
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements 
• Must be at least 18 years of age
