Amergis Healthcare Staffing is currently seeking highly skilled Ultrasound Technician for assignment in Burlingame, CA!

Position Details:

Duration: 13 weeks

Position Title: Ultrasound Tech – General Radiology / Cardiology

Position Description: SONOGRAPHY SERVICES

• Performs a variety of diagnostic sonography examinations using established procedures policies and practices to ensure optimal results.

• Operates a variety of complex stationery and mobile diagnostic equipment. Requirements: -ARDMS and RVT required -2 years’ experience required.

Shift Specification:4×10 Variable Days – 730-1800 and 830-1900 On-call one night per week Weekends as needed Shift Info: Day 4×10-Hour 07:00 – 17:30

 Local Rate – $62/hr

 *Total Travel Package = $3,557.00/week/40 hours

·         Weekly Housing Allowance: $1,813.00

·         Weekly Meals/Incidentals Allowance: $644.00

·         Weekly Taxable Income: $1,102.00

 *Based upon qualifying for position and allowances. Total package is inclusive of taxable wages and allowances.

The Ultrasound Technician performs a variety of specialized technical tasks utilizing high frequency ultrasound waves to assist with the detection of medical conditions or abnormalities by producing images of the inside of a patient’s body.

Minimum Requirements:

• A certification from an accredited ultrasound school 
• One year of experience as an ultrasound technician preferred.
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable 
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation) 
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements 
• Must be at least 18 years of age
